Ben Patterson - Now that HTC and Huawei have (reportedly, anyway) passed on Palm, Lenovo is looking like the "leading candidate" to buy the struggling smartphone maker, Reuters reports. But given what one investment banking source calls Palm's "wounded brand" and its history of losses, will Lenovo actually close the deal?
